Kisean Anderson better known by his stage name, Sean Kingston, the 21 year old year old Jamaican-American artist was involved in a jet skiing accident in Miami, Florida. Kingston and a female passenger were severely injured when their jet ski struck the bridge connecting Palm Island with the MacArthur Causeway at approximately 6 p.m.
Kingston was discovered through MySpace by Tommy Rotem at Beluga Heights, and signed to the label in a partnership deal with Sony. Kingston shot to fame in 2007 when his debut song "Beautiful Girls" became a No. 1 hit in the United States.
Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino says both Kingston and his female passenger were hospitalized early Monday at Ryder Trauma Center, but he didn't know their conditions, however a representative for his label Epic Records confirmed early Monday that Kingston "was now stabilized." No further information was provided by ground authorities.

Early life
Kingston was born on February 3, 1990 in Miami, Florida and moved to Kingston, Jamaica when he was six.[1] He attended high school in Ocho Rios.[2] His grandfather by marriage was the noted Jamaican reggae producer Lawrence Lindo,[3] who worked under the stage name Jack Ruby.[4][1] At age 11, Kingston spent 21 days in jail for breaking and entering, and Kingston lived in a car while his mother was incarcerated for identity theft.[1][5]
